Versatex is our stocked brand of cellular PVC trimboard. Versatex is weather and insect resistant, making it perfect for outdoor use. It can even be applied directly to masonry and will not rot. One great advantage to Veratex is there is no need to paint it prior to installation.

Treated lumber is a softwood lumber, primarily southern yellow pine, which has been treated to resist termites, fungus, rot, and decay. Boards are treated in pressure tanks that force chemicals (MCA or micronized copper azole) deep into the wood fibers to prevent issues faced by untreated lumber. Excelsior Lumber gets daily deliveries of treated lumber from Culpeper Wood Preservers and Bestway Lumber to fulfill all of our customers’ needs.
Framing lumber is the grade of wood used for house framing. Its technical characteristics make it perfectly suitable when large spans are necessary. Excelsior Lumber and Kaslander Lumber both stock Sherwood Douglas Fir framing lumber in 2×4, 2×6, 2×8, 2×10, 2×12 (8’ – 20’) and both stock stud-grade and #2 and better (BTR) as well as keep kiln dried (KD) and Green Douglas Fir. Both Kaslander and Excelsior stock precut sizes in (8’) 92 5/8, (9’) 96, 104 5/8, and (10’) 116 5/8 lengths. Kaslander Lumber also keeps 2x3- 8’ and 2x3- 10’ on hand.
